About TendorAI
TendorAI is an AI Visibility platform for businesses. Standard measurement covers ChatGPT and Perplexity, and additional AI platforms can be included by agreement. It measures how AI assistants answer the buyer questions a business cares about, records those answers as evidence, and measures the same questions again after changes are made.
Profiles are pre-built from UK regulatory register data \u2014 the SRA, ICAEW, FCA and Propertymark registers \u2014 so the details on them can be checked against the register they came from. Where a business engages TendorAI, Schema.org markup is installed on its own website so that what an assistant can read about it is accurate and consistent.
Unlike tools that only track AI mentions, TendorAI also does the implementation work and then measures again, so a change and its effect on the measurement are both on the record. What an AI assistant says is not something TendorAI controls, and it does not promise a recommendation.
Figures
Every figure TendorAI publishes carries a date, a method and a sample size. The headline statistics that used to sit here did not, so they have been removed rather than restated. For figures you can quote, use the published studies: each one states its panel, its prompt set, its collection window and its limitations, and the underlying datasets and deviations logs are published alongside them.

Most UK solicitors were never named in the AI answers we measured
In TendorAI’s August 2026 study, 1,003 of 1,214 SRA-regulated firms — 83% — were never named once across their eligible answers on a fixed panel of 68 prompts. The study, its panel and its deviations log are published in full.
AI is replacing the Google search for finding solicitors and accountants
When consumers ask ChatGPT for a solicitor in Manchester, AI picks 2–3 names. Everyone else gets nothing. This is a fundamentally different dynamic to Google’s list of 10.
